On Sunday, 7 October 2018, the Bradley Cook Trophy and Parallel Plate finals were held on a glorious, sunny, autumn day at Lamberhurst.

The atmosphere amongst the finalists, caddies and supporters was tremendous.  Humour was apparent when the two trophy teams club colours were red.  In the words of Sharon Brooks (team captain for Sundridge Park), it was not a sea of red but an ocean and at times difficult to spot which team was which on the course.  The players showed great patience due to the course being busy and matches slow.  Thank you ladies.

Following photographs taken outside everyone came in for a welcoming tea and presentation by our President, Chris Lohan.

Congratulations to all the finalists, this is a great achievement.  Commiserations to the runners-up, Canterbury and Nizels, but we wish them well for next year’s competition.

We would like to thank Sophia Davies, Lady Captain of Lamberhurst and her team, the chef, staff and Pro Shop for all their help and support before and during the competition. The flower displays were stunning and the tea wonderful. Thanks must also go to the office for their help and organisation and for allowing KCLGA to hold competitions such as these on their course.

Last but not least, I would like to thank our President, Chris Lohan, Vice President, Marilyn Brown and Vice Captain Anne Billings for their support and help in the running of the Bradley Cook Finals.
