Well Done Girls!

At 13 Ainee O'Connor from Sundridge Park, has just become the youngest player ever to play in the Mail on Sunday National Finals Day. She played in previous rounds for Sundridge winning all her matches helping the team to get to Manchester for the Finals.
Unfortunately she was beaten in a very close tight match at the Worsley Park Marriot by a much older experienced player
but she took her to the 17th and played magnificently.
Well done Ainee. A possible Kent Champion of the future??
Sundridge won the Grand Final in Spain in 2008 but
unfortunately on this occasion won't be repeating that
great achievment as they lost to Northamptonshire
County GC 41/2 - 1/2.
MAIL ON SUNDAY FINAL
A team of 12 lady members of the Society played in the annual match against a team of Kent Junior girls at
Knole Park Golf Club on the 24th October..
It was a close fought battle with the Girls just winning by 3 1/2 - 2 1/2. 3 matches going to the 18th.
The match is in its 14th year and we are sorry to report that the result is 11 wins to the
Juniors and only 3 to the SLCKGC. Perhaps next year??
We thank Knole Park for allowing us courtesy of the course.
