Kent Girls selected for England U16 South East Squad
Sharna Dutrieux, Nicola Smith, Nicole Stewart, Nicola Amos and Darcie Smith have been selected for the England U16 South East squad.  To read more follow the link England Golf


2 October 2014 – Sophie Bargeron

We have one of our juniors Sophie Bargeron at college in the States at the moment at Armstrong University in Savannah, Georgia. Sophie played in her first tournament for her college over the weekend in South Carolina and started with an excellent 1 over par 73 in the first round on the Saturday, to be leading scorer for the college that day and in 5th place in the tournament overall. Sunday was a bit tougher and she shot 78 – with a gross total of 151, placing her 15th in the competition overall in her first outing.


1 October 2014 – Kent Schools v Surrey Schools

Nicola Smith and Nicole Amos represented Kent yesterday in a Kent schools match against Surrey at Royal St Georges in perfect golfing weather. The teams consisted of 8 boys and 2 girls with Foursomes played in the morning and singles in the afternoon.

The girls won their foursomes 5 and 4 but Kent trailed 3-2 at lunch.

After the boys singles the scores were tied at 6.5-6.5, but a 4 and 3 win for Nicola and 2 and 1 win for Nicole saw Kent win 8.5 – 6.5.


29 September 2014 – Holly Standing

Holly Standing has had a good start in the USA. Selected for the first two competitions for Tyler Junior College she has helped her team to two 2nd place finishes, and has two individual top ten finishes.


9 March 2014 – Kent Girls v Kent Boys 9 March at Rochester and Cobham Golf Club

The Kent Junior Girls had their first match of the season at Rochester & Cobham against the boys on 9th March 2014.
The team was Freya Courtney, Rosie Jones, Mollie Lawrence, Fiona McCann, Ainee O’Connor, Lily Price, Darcie Smith, Nicola Smith, Ellen Walker.
The girls did really well by winning 3 of their singles matches and of the losing matches,four went all the way to the 18th hole.
They all had a great day and a big thank you goes to Rochester & Cobham for hosting the match.
