The final of the Bradley Cook Trophy and Parallel Plate was held on Sunday, 1st October at Royal Cinque Ports. In spite of the matches starting in rain and having to contend with high winds throughout the afternoon, some brilliant golf was played.
Royal Cinque Ports won the Trophy. The first and last matches were won by Nizels with Cinque Ports winning the middle 3 matches.

The Parallel Plate was contested by last year’s winners, Langley Park and Wrotham Heath. Wrotham were the victors this year by winning the first, third and fifth matches and the fourth match was called in.
The referees were Cheryl Power, KCLGA Vice Captain, and Jane Marr. Elaine Tappin, Kent President presented the Trophy and Plate.
I would like to thank Royal Cinque Ports for all the help they gave me in organising the Final with a special thanks to their Lady Captain, Jane Wilson, and Dolores Brown in the office.
